LA RED LATINX

Transforming communitieswith collective knowledge and storytelling

We partner with communities to document lived experience, amplify narratives, and translate collective knowledge into change.

Storytelling We produce community-led projects for narrative change. We have led a podcast and a short film to show things from our lens to change the narrative about immigrants.

Engaging Latinx Communities in Research

Coming from a research background, we know how to reach Latino communities ethically and equitably in research.

Evaluation & Training for Community OrganizationsWe support organizations with program evaluation, research training, and building capacity for community-centered research.

What we do

Communities already hold the knowledge. Our work is to help surface it, document it, and mobilize it for change.

Too often, research about communities is done without them and reiterates harmful narratives and exploitation. La Red started in Atlanta in 2017 after witnessing this pattern repeat in our communities. We combine research, creative arts, and storytelling, so organizations and communities can produce evidence and narratives to transform the conditions of our lives.
