Who we are

La Red Latinx is a community engagement and storytelling studio. We partner with communities to document lived experience, surface collective knowledge, and translate it into stories and strategies that support meaningful change.

What we believe

Communities already hold the knowledge. Too often, that knowledge is overlooked, extracted, or filtered through institutions that disconnect it from the people it belongs to. As a community-based studio, La Red exists to do something different.

We work alongside communities to surface lived experience as expertise, document stories with care and integrity, and transform collective knowledge into tools for action. Our Freirean approach is grounded in trust, collaboration, and a commitment to honoring the voices of those most impacted.

How we work

Our approach is relational. We prioritize long-term relationships over transactional projects and work in close collaboration with community partners at every stage to co-create instead of extract. We have a decade of building trust and practice at ensuring communities retain ownership of their stories and knowledge.

Why it matters

Stories shape what is seen, valued, and possible. By documenting lived experience and uplifting collective knowledge, we support communities in making their own narratives — and in using those narratives to influence systems, policy, and culture.
